Change in specification affects the delivery time?

Does any changes in spec of GTI while not confirmed date of production affects delivery date ??

Like I order GTI in february, and added new options like 2x times since than.

Local VW said until production is confirmed I can change what ever I want.


Any expirience ??

It probably pushes you back up the queue if you change the order.... plus adding things can also stop the planning if the thing you add is on a longer lead time than the basic car....

"planned" is when they have a production slot and all of the components are going to be on hand. Its four weeks ahead of the production week.

All of the time they don't have the parts, it won't be planned.
