Purchased some OEM+ mods for my Clubsport,  which I’d put back to standard apart from CSS LCA bushes

How's the car drive on the CSS LCA bushes?

Didn't realize the rear lower arms were different too?? In what way, solid bushes??

Is the CSS anti roll bar thicker again than the CS anti roll bar??

I understood the CSS front arb is the same as CS, where as the CSS rear arb is 21.7 x 3.6 vs 21.7 x 3.0 on the CS & regular GTi.
The CSS rear arb is also used on some Passat & Tiguan, I am led to believe?

Paul70 have you driven a CSS?, it feels sharper than a CS, but I am not sure how much of that is down to the Cup2 tyres. I am not questioning the CSS suspnsion set up, it's just that I have never driven both on the same tyres as a comparison.

Are you running DCC with 19"s on your CS?

I had CUP2s on my CS for a while and they do sharpen things up but happy with PS4S tyres at the moment. Running 18s and non DCC. Let’s see if the mods make a difference. Perhaps I would get more benefit upgrading the suspension, what do you think?

Honestly, it depends how you use the car....PS4 S have a relatively softer side wall than a Cup2, and with Standard suspension on 18"'s, the car should be fairly compliant on the road.....if you are not going to track it, it sounds ideal?

As and when the shocks need replacing, it may make sense to upgrade? On a non GTi I have heard good things about Koni special active shocks on standard springs, which are compliant at lower speeds and harden up with load.....it's all subjective.

My own CS is 3 door, manual, buckets, Dcc & 19"s, I am happy enough with the suspension option of the Dcc, I will upgrade the tyres as the next step as and when they are needed.

With a little bit of advise, thanks Willni, i decided to give my CS Alcantara steering wheel a bit of a clean over the weekend, it wasn't really dirty but i thought it needed a freshen up.
Been putting it off as i didnt want to make a mess of the Alcantara in case things went wrong, but i grabbed some Autobrite Alcantara cleaner and various brushes and set to work, brushed up the nap this morning and it feels all lovely and soft again.
