advice for me please

one for the experts here  had my new tyres put on today but noticed that they have had to remove the original weights and the new ones are in a different position and now i have the adhesive etc left on the alloys which will more than likely p!ss me off  so can you suggest the decent way of getting this off will more than likely have the wheels off at the weekend to do it

A good wheel or all purpose cleaner should do it with a bit of elbow grease.

tar and glue remover you may have to soak it for a while but it will shift eventually.

Just use a hairdryer to warm it up and then remove when warm. The guy at the tyre bay by me warms up the wheel with a hairdryer before fitting.       Cheers      Deano

yes... as Dan and Chris said... Tar & Citrus remover ftw

if you are having to scrub the balls out of it then you need to be using something else

I use Ambersil label remover for such things.

I had adhesive marks on the inside of the windows where the alarm stickers were. A little spray of this and it came off with no fuss (plus it has a nice orangey smell )

It also worked to get rid of the adhesive pads that hold numberplates on.
