I know, but I suppose they just report the info that VW give them.

I ordered my Clubsport company car in January 2021 since then the 45 edition has been released and a lot of them have been delivered and now they’re releasing another new performance golf and I don’t even have my car yet 😂, if it wasn’t a company car I’d be canceling my order.

I’m not sure what’s more of a mess from VW the MK8 Golf or the ID3/4

In the early days of the mk8 there were reports of a range topper above the R with more power to closer rival the RS3 and A45s.

My guess is this is coming now in time for the R32 anniversary, maybe at the expense of the R performance pack and that’s the reason the rear wing is now standard on the R.

Do you think vw would really crank the ea888 to getting on towards 400bhp?

I know tuners do it but with warranty support?

According to the last post in this discussion thread over on VWROC.com forum, seems the rear wing isn’t standard on the R.

Think this will be US market only. The Evo article is badly written and simply draws on a lot of unknowns - it is clear that they have heard nothing through VW.

They found out about the image just how everyone else did… on VWoA’s Instagram account. Worth adding that neither VW Germany, nor VW UK posted the same image. VWoA Performance Golf market is very different to ours, wouldn’t even surprise me if they were getting the Clubsport
