Is there anyway to get the map to display in the dash and the infotainment at the same time with OBD Eleven?

Yes when you are setting the 5f controller set "ability to switch maps" to no.

If all you’re planning on doing is to turn off Lane Assist when you get in the car, why not just use the Brocky Method? Saves buying OBD11.

Oh I’m far too lazy to do that every time I get in!

Finally worked out how to add the sat nav to my dash, also have set lane assist to memory so it stays off.

Hi all, I'm considering a mk8 GTI or GTD but will need by June this year when my current lease expires.   It's with VW finance and no option to carry over to a rolling lease unfortunately...

Anyway one question on the map and dial set up, is it possible to have the Speedo dials and rev counters circular style rather than square background when in  using map mode?

Don't think so, but that's probably least of your problems...

Thanks a lot Dave1rs, I got this to work

Can I ask, is the GTI logo displayed in any other views or just the one you've been able to activate?

I did this earlier and don't have the GTi, any ideas why? Car is a GTi CS

Love this display!
Awaiting: Mk8 GTI CS
