Very nice! Agree, quality of them is really good, they look like they could have been factory fitted.

The manual talks about there being a warning light, and is listed under troubleshooting as what to do when the message appears. It wouldn’t surprise me if the manual and what the car does differs!

When my screenwash ran low the warning light came on. Is it unique to cars with winterpack?

It would seem it is indeed part of the winter pack.

Got the rest of my roof wrapped black, happy out with it.

I think you’ve found the perfect angle to photograph the mk8 Golf from - yours looks really good in your picture, and I think the combination of white car, black roof and Estoril alloys works well .

Tempted to get this done on my incoming white GTI CS. Gloss black I take it? Did you also wrap the top of the spoiler?

Fitted my maxton lip spoiler, jury is still out as to wether it’s staying on or not.

Have you considered using your new found wrapping skills to wrap 100% of the rear spoiler - I think if you did that the lip spoiler would integrate better and overall give a stronger look

I like the idea of wrapping the roof black on my white GTI CS but not sure how to approach the spoiler part. Wrap the whole spoiler in gloss back or just the top part so it runs straight the length of the roof and spoiler and leave the sides white.

Any thoughts genuinely welcome as I don't want to spend £150 and it look weird.

Something I've considered too. I'd probably copy how its done on the Edition 45, where the spoiler is left body colour apart from the existing gloss black bit on it.
