Rallye headlights Adjustment guide on page 3
« on: 20 December 2012, 14:45 »
Got some rallye headlights on my mk2 but they need alligning.
The drivers side high beam points up and to the left and the passenger side shines straight at the road about a meter infront of the car.
Ive taken it to a garage but they couldnt do anything with them.
Does anyone know a "headlight specialist" or something like because i dont fancy breaking them.

Good point Ken, I would say the vast majority would be, however would the few officially imported cars have RHD lights?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

if i was driving in france I'd blind HGV drivers

lol i hear that! Got an uprated headlight wiring loom but not fitted yet and getting some foglights aswell.
Really want them to light the road before messing with the wiring though. Right now they just light up the trees im driving past...

Rallye lights are switchable between LHD & RHD there is a screw on the back of them which moves the projector

This.

Ask on Dubforce how they adjust.  Someone on there will know, unless one of the great and good on here knows it, but I don't think they swing by through this section very often.

Don't they adjust with two screws like most other headlights then? One for up and down and one for left to right.
