Had a couple of questions about the defogged lights so if it helps

I took them out of the grill then poured in loads of flash, I wound up a cloth like a rope and poked it through the hole and spun it around watching where it wiped, it didnt take long to clean them all, then i thoroughly dried them out on a radiator before re fitting, if you go to the mk2 forum and ask on there they have a thread about splitting the lens from the frame, good luck

Reminds me of being a nipper when my Ma brought her first mk2 home from the dealers brand new...over 20yrs ago now

Amazing condition for it's age.

Will have to get it to some concours things if you enjoy cleaning it that much :lipsrsealed:

you will need a temp controlled bubble to keep it in

Something like this perhaps?

Still cant believe how clean and original this is.

Are you gonna be putting a few miles on it for the swdubs meet in Execeter on Sunday? We Plymouth lot are meeting at Sainsburys in Marsh Mills at 10.30 for a convoy up if you are. Would be great to see it then before the hoard devour it up there too.
