Post by: Wide on 10 August 2017, 05:42
Full wheel spinn on first gear, yet i have 235/35/19 GY wheels .

And not full boost until 3 gear...i think.. You can see in my power monitor in the movie..

NO it is not the same Brutal LC in the Non Facelift or the 7,5 with not the Performance Pack!

One of my subs comment that he had the LC at 3200rpm, and i have 3800rpm. .

When i checked that with a tuner is that the case!. So the "NEW" 7 gear DQ381 can handle more power!. Therefore problably the 0-60 is so much better in the PP..

I think it would be, I have a gt I pp manual but I am pretty careful how I drive..on the tyres and clutch, but I have plenty of power and with relatively thin tyres front wheel drive i am 100% certain i would get wheel spin it i planted my foot to the floor from the off.

Can't try that round my way (mind you, don't have launch control being a manual other than that operated by my feet), too many speed cameras, junctions, pedestrians, traffic etc etc etc. Plus I think I've reached the age now when I don't feel the need to so much

And you canĀ“t use this in normal traffic... But always when you are first on traffic lights...

That is not entirely accurate. The fact that there is a Launch Control function does not mean that the car is built for repeated, regular launching. With every launch you are creating extra wear on the drive-train (clutch, shafts etc.), this is a fact. Surely, the drive-train is designed and built with tolerances that allow a certain level of abuse so that it doesn't blow up the first time you try a launch, but you are using those reserves every time you do another one. How often is too often? That is debatable but it is certainly not something that comes for free in the long run. The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is a car actually built for drag-racing with the components to match that type of use, a Golf GTI isn't.

PS. Also, only cheap tyres are... cheap! Which also make this car in particular drive like crap. Burning out a set of top tyres like the new Michelin PS4S at 8500 sek is not very cheap.

Yes i was kidding a little bit, but using the LC not everyday will not be a problem

I have the new Conti Sportcontact 6. And think theses tyres are cheap if i compare what i payed for Premium tires for 10 years ago..

It is pretty half the prize on 19" Premium now days..

What 0-60 are you getting Wide?

I have heard that the new GTI PP can do 0-60 in sub 6 seconds quite easily. Maybe the new 7 speed DSG helps a fraction.
