As per the title really - normally you'd shop around for cheap insurance, but which cars are generally cheaper to insure? Any inside info from the insurance sponsors?

Older cars tend to have a lower insurance. Regardless of the insurance group of the car.

I found its cheaper to go for a car that young people don't usually drive for example I'm 23 been driving for 7 month I got a quote on a fiat punto mk2 1.2 came back at 4k a year then got a quote on a vw bora 2.0 sport came back at 800 a year
