Side repeater law??
« on: 07 November 2011, 20:11 »
I want to smooth the side repeaters but what is the law concerning having them? I have noticed that MK1's and MK2's don't have them so is there an age cut off or will I be fine having none?

My mk2 is 1990 and I replaced my side repeaters with aluminium Wolfsburg badges and had no issues with mots so far!

They are a mot fail if not fitted to anything post 1985, so yes you need them
