there all left hand drive theres 100's of them here more than was imported by vw alot have been imported into the uk from abroad im not sure about JV's but i know Tophers was imported from germany and might even have some of the paperwork still from the importation and a german manual :P there simular to an 8v in taht there punchy all thru the revs not like a 16v which you really have to push into high revs as ive only driven an 8v and 16v and not had the pleasure or a rallye im sure there are better people to tell you about them all i know is they look great and sound awesome and tbh was the best golf every produced to date in my opinion :D

"stops drowling and picks up his tongue to return to is lowly 8v" :(

Thinking about late next year to be honest. I can can either go cash on a s/h Noble, s/h VX220Turbo, or contract a spec'd new Mk5 Golf GTI. Or i could go original Mk2 G60 or Rallye (non of this messed around sh*t). If i bought one of the latter two, then its a collection car and will rarely see a public road again but would need to be stored. A Mk5 would be nice for the long distance travelling I'm starting to do, a turbo'd babe would be nice for weekends.
