i totally agree. i have a friend who owns a garage, doesnt know a single thing when it comes to vags. has to ring me to get the problem fixed. yet he'll be charging through the roof just to get a possible answer from me.

id love to open a garage, but i only like german cars. so id have to specialize. i dont want to go back to college, just done 3 years of mechanics.


i hear the coloured rocker cover business is boooming on the bay of e. even more if you get a rare 50bhp polished rocker.

There a few "specialist" garages near me but none are actually C&G qualified, all charge like wounded rhinos majority are total cunits. What I've learned is if you keep the punter happy then you'll get repeat custom and they'll tell their friends. I also believe in treating people as I wish to be treated, not in a religious way, just in a basic human being kind of way.

That alone is a very good trait to have when it comes to business! Good luck with it

Nah, I nipped the bolts up on the bumper for MOT then fully intended to return to redo it properly. Just been so busy with work and everything else it didn't get done.
Was rushing back to collect some tools to fix my mates stranded Corrado, turned at a junction and the bumper went straight on  No one injured so not a big deal, just a bit embarrassing.
