if you want to go sideways all you do is take both ARBs and swap them front to back and upside down, then you will have a drifting machine

2000 GTI 1.8t ARZ, S2000 filter, DSG intake, Forge 007 dv, Catch can, R-tech custom remap, 3" Supersize Silicone TIP, Powerflex dog bone, 'The Beast' FMIC, Ultimate delete, LCR fuel pump, 3" Turbo back, K03 hybrid, Ported Manifold, S3 injectors, 80mm maf = 280bhp 270lbft

better yet, jack your car up and drop McDonald's trays on your rear wheels, this will allow you to beat rx7 and s2000 in a Tokyo drift match. Also to gain street cred I suggest you drive your car from the roof using your feet to steer through the sun roof.

This is spot on advice that I need above.

i'm looking to swap out the engine of my diesel for a 2JZ froma  supra so i can win the drift events.

The problem I'm encountering is I need to mount it sideways due to the shape of the golf.

Would I be ok in just attaching the engine directly to the front passenger wheel? I iunderstand I will only have one gear, but from only driving one wheel and going in reverse everywhere I should be "dorifto Kingo" right?

if you mount it at the rear you will have a rear wheel drive golf awesome for drifting  along with mcdonalds trays under the front wheels

and you need to hang pappa smurf off the back cos he is the daddy the blonde smurf just attracts to much attention

That's perfect - i don't want to attract too much attention as the police are after me all the time. I can normally outrun them though, but have been looking to get hold of a police scanner radio.

What is the best kind of radio to tap into the police? Clock Radio? CB Radio? Or is there an App on my iPhone to do this?

This should be all you need once you've got hold of the Xzibit chap
http://www.mtv.com/onair/pimp_my_ride/game/play/

i like the look of those scanners. Is there a way to link it up to my brain by ingesting some of those "micro chips" from the previous page.

I would really like a minority report esque "heads up display".

Alos how do I avoid my floor falling out of my car when I get error messages such as "Danger to Manifold"?
