Hi
I am hoping someone more informed than me can advise when the timing chain etc should be changed on a Golf GTD 51 ooo miles .I cant find any info in owners manual and cant find service book .

Hi Pinky. The mk6 GTD has a rubber timing belt rather than a chain. VW do seem to have changed the cam belt change intervals at various times. However, a quick search using the ‘search’ function in the forum turned up this discussion thread that looks to give the information you’re looking for;

It is probably worth considering getting your water pump replaced at the same time;
