Looks loads better without the arches, try some cutting compound on the paint that should remove the marks.

Cheers Wayne, yup thats exactly what i'm gonna do next week. Will do the whole car though as there is a few wee scratches I want to try and remove. Got some of that poorboys wax I want to use on it too so to protect it from the weather.

Unfortunately I haven't been so lucky with flat and polishing out the marks left by the arch trims. I am going to have to paint all four arches to completely get rid of any marks. :( hopefully for you, the marking shouldn't be as bad, with it being a metallic colour :) what size are your tyres by the way?

Marks will come out hopefully, still not had the time to do some work to them. Tyres are 205/45/17's but gonna be replacing them with some 15" soltitudes shortly.

Sold the borbets and took these 15" soltitudes as a part ex against them. Drives so much better now, the 17's, together with the cheap coilovers didn't give a very nice ride but all is good now. Also checked the resitence of all the abs sensors via the ecu and the O/S front was dead so replaced with a new one and now the abs light is off and is working as it should. Replaced the fan control module and the radiator fan switch and now have both slow and fast fans kicking in when they should along with a functioning aux water pump so happy days. Car is going really well just now. Next job will be to change the heater box once my replacement arrives, still got my cl side strips to fit.

Looked better with the arch covers unless your planning to colour code the bumper trims..

No colour coding planned as yet maybe next year.....I'm in the opinion if there is no rust under the plastics then they should be binned. And this is a solid Mk3 and deserves to show off its sexy bits
