I would have said that most cars got overtaken (5).  They were all obvious going slower than me.  If I had of done that in the GTD the MPG would have been at least 10-15mpg less than 58mpg.

It's the interior that I couldn't be doing with. I had an S model for a few weeks earlier this year. The plastic steering wheel and gear knob are just plain nasty. It's also suprising how you really miss a nice radio, auto lights and wipers, bluetooth, electic rear windows, privicy glass etc etc.

If they did the option of having one in Match spec, I think there would be a much higher demand for it, but I guess that's where the BMT comes in.

I have to admit, I don't know what the people are doing that seem to only get low 40's from the 1.6 TDI.  I expect they soley drive in town.  Even then I believe it would be very short journies.   It did have the stop/start tech too and it worked quite well.
