Thanks for the comments guys- since photos I have replaced the discs/pads all round and repainted the calipers- the rears were a right pain to change as the caliper holding bolts were seized and had to enlist help of garage with loosening them, :(

Two years today I bought this car so I thought I would update this thread to tell you how I've got on.

This Anni is my daily and have covered 35,000 miles in this time- car has been generally very well behaved and have starting swapping out old bits for new as they break!

So new bits all installed to make the running gear nice and sweet again and averaging 36mpg include

- Cambelt and water pump
- Clutch pedal as it snapped on me- luckily on a motorway
- Battery, dizzy cap, spark plugs
- Gasket seal
- Brembo discs and pads all round

Now for the interesting stuff :)

Steering wheel, handbrake cover and gearknob re-trimmed by Jack at Royal Steering Wheels

Winter Wheels- Longbeach with Continental WinterContacts

Audi TT pedals and cabrio door handles (and a cheeky Audi 12v dust cap to replace the cigarette lighter)

Aero wiper mods- front and rear

So far a great car :)
