Is it only warranty issue on TDIs? Strange section to post the thread in!

It won't void your warranty but it will void your insurance.

Not really. Insurers have a legal obligation to insure your vehicle at a minimum of 3rd party coverage, regardless of MOT status/Tax status or modifications ;)

As the others have said, there should be no warranty issues, but anything more than the factory tint in the front side windows is illegal. Granted, others may have done theirs and passed MOT's, but it's the risk they take.

Personally, I think front tints look stupid.
