Mk7 R Owner
« on: 02 September 2023, 20:40 »
Hi everyone, new member here. I currently own a mk7 r which I'm loving to say the least. I had a stage 1 map from devil developments where it made 380 bhp. This has made it fairly lively when you want it to be. Lots of other bits I want to do but just haven't got there yet.

My previous car was a mk5 R32 which I was sad to see go but I just couldn't justify the tax. It sounded lovely and was a great car nonetheless.

I've also had 2x mk3 vr6's and 2x mk3 gti 8v's. Although I've gone up in terms of newness my heart is really with the mk3's. I would love another mk3 as I've always regretted selling them.

Welcome Smithy

Nice to see a 3 door 7R, not too many of those about

Interesting to see you’re a huge mk3 fan. To most that’s probably the least popular Golf. I had two VR6’s myself many many years ago. What an engine that was way back then.
