I love the orange.... the grille looks likes something missing in the pics... you could try getting a single headlamp grille???

its missing the inner slats, it has mesh instead. i have already painted the stripe green, but wondered if a matching pinstripe down the sides would suit the car.

Im not sure many are a fan of that grill tho, hence i picked up a cheap (new) 4 lamp gti grill yesterday
yeah i commented on the cheapness of the new grille somewhere else on here, how come so cheap? Something green down the side might help!??  I think it was the mesh that didnt go with everything else.

cheap because a) i work for a motor factors and b) its not of OE quality but when fitted will look almost identical.

the former is useful when it breaks down. i must me due another breakdown as it hasnt happened recently!!  :lipsrsealed:

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Ive been tidying the bay recently using this stuff:

And bit by bit i've been sorting out crap like this:

and slowly but surely ive so far ended up with :

BTW this scuttle cover needs replacing urgently but im trying to source the original clips for an OE cover!!  The wiring is a lot tidier beneath the cover but i couldnt be fluffed unbolting it just for photos

Oh and to replace the awful BLUE cable ties i received these badboys this morning:

And some more random photos using the digital camera, which made the car look almust luminous orange (like Dynarod vans!) which it isnt!

The front bumper is buggered in terms of paint and structure, hence the gap between the grill and top of the bumper.

Also got a new quad lamp GTI grill to fit:
