i've started making a list of bits and bobs you might need  

indeed, well i have started reading haynes removal procedure,  what stuff have you come up with i need 

copious amounts of silicone hose to replace your vaccum lines as no doubt they will be split
new clamps, spring clips and jubliee clips
oil and filter
coolant
new timing belt and tensioner for peace of mind 

thats just a few things in my head lol

and most importantly a steady supply of bacon butties and mugs of tea 

And dont forget to replace the plastic water pump pulley with a metal one.

Yup, water pump is a must.

You getting some Forge bits & pieces whilst your at it?  (TIP & 5 piece hose kit etc.)
