Help re lights:
« on: 02 January 2009, 16:14 »
My interior lighting for the heating controls have stopped working.  :undecided:

Just the dials for the heating level, whether it is on the screen/feet etc.

The "AC" button still lights up but just the 3 dials.

Any ideas?

Cheers guys

Nick

Yep,the bulb has gone.Grap hold of the centre dial and pull it out, behind it is a little bulb which lights that part of the dash, they cost about £1 from VW.

you'll probs need a pair of thin nose pliers to get the bulb out but dont squeeze it to hard. Just done mine today and found a tip from someone else useful, put some electricians tap around the end of the pliers.
