I've got eBay Vag-com cable and the free version of Vag-com 409.1.

James in Chesterfield and Sheffield.

Don't have VAG COM but have generic OBD2 code reader/fault clearer.  Will identify trouble causes.  Reads and clears generic and manufacturer specific Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and turns off check engine light .

For Petrol cars in Europe made for sale on or after January 2001 and Diesel Cars in Europe made for sale 2004 onwards

VCDS 10 (or vag com) registered - can do autowindows and have vag dash com (can enable miles to empty, lit pointers) can now do the mk5 golf too - can also do cluster swaps and ECU matching

I am based in East London but work in NW London

I visit Southampton a fair bit too
