Looking into this at the mo.  Just got this all priced up:

VW G60 flywheel (028105269bx), its now £114 + 30 surcharge.  I haven't got the exchange so I'll be hit with full wack.

VW Bolts:
6off N90206103 @ £2.43 each
6off N10101001 @ £0.40 each

Quoted £100 + vat for the Sachs VR6 clutch kit (3000384001) at local motor factors
Also quoted £160 fitting.

Jobs a goodun, just got to convince our lass to raid the savings again.....  gulp

Right, had it done.  Got a squeek now!  Furk it :cry:
Gets slightly louder with clutch depressed.  Up under car seems maybe from the metal gasket (between box and engine), could this be rubbing on the new flywheel?
Decided to give it a couple of days use use and see if it gets better.  It seems more noticable when cold....
Apart from that the clutch is lighter, but bite point etc feels so much better than before!  No vibration through clutch pedal, result!  Engine spins up/down more freely too.

Squeak went after a week or so  :smiley:

Left now with a clutch that feels 200% better than the old setup!

Just not sure what to do with the big box full of bits left over now...  :tongue:

take it down vag and trade it in for something else ha ha pathetic that surcharge

Depends if you ordered the 3 in 1 kit or not   :smiley:

The VR6 bearing is the same as the 1.8T standard one BTW  :wink:
