Good info. I just changed my pollent filter. Mine was thick with muck!
what are the plastic things on the top of my engine then. they have a nut with wires on them. i was told the car doesnt have spark plugs as suchnever seen it before in all my years. anyone shed some light at all. its a 99 1.8 turbo if that helps
nice one. i did look and realised what they were straight away. these have been replaced (apparentely quite expensive) but no idea about spark plugsis the code bkr6e for a 1.8 turbo?
I don't want to post on a sticky but... on the 1st page the best sparks are referred to as NGK201 from Hal or the same from ECP part 408440060 (http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/408440060/p/home)When I use the car selector it says these sparks won't fit my Golf (only '97 '98 '99) and the correct ones would be ECP part 408440040 which are twice the price! I have the AUM GTI-T (year 2000). So either ECP have their knickers in a twist and Hal NGK201's are right, or the other way round. I don't fancy spending £40 on sparks can someone advise as I can't be the only one to see this? Thanks.
