This is probably going to go against what many say here but I actually quite like the Pzero's that are fitted to our GTI.
The main reason is that they never seem to wear, whist still offering pretty decent levels of grip and comfort.
On my other car (BMW M140i) have the Goodyear Asssymetric 6, and the rears are nearly shot at 7500 miles of mostly gentle driving, the fronts are about half worn.
Grip wise they are better obviously, but the difference isn't huge. The Pirelli probably offer 95% of the grip, but offer around 3 times the life.
