Emissions regarding declaring abf conversion to DVLA for updating logbook.

Hi all,I have just completed an abf conversion on twin webers into my mk2. I was wandering if anyone has had their logbook updated/declared to DVLA for this conversion or similar. I’d like to be able to update it to make sure it is all above board. However after a bit of research I’m unsure whether the emissions for the car will be used (mk2) or will they update the emissions for the abf engine (mk3) which are more stringent and also may require an catalytic converter ? Any help is appreciate.

I'm pretty sure that the car just has to meet the emissions that it was first registered with.
