Picked up my first GTi a few weeks back. After a 6 hour round trip I have bought a car I have always wanted. I am 33 now but sometimes you have to wait a few years for your teenage dreams to come true :D






She is  a '92 K plate 16 valve 127k miles with FSH. Totally standard and that's the way its staying...from the outisde anyway

Oh and that silly car-bra was the first thing to go...

Have decided to try and get the car back to mint. Stripped out the interior to get and had a good look around.

So all in all, not too bad. I have bought some surface filler and touch up paint. Need a wire brish and some sand paper. Getting started soon.
