Title: GTI PP ordered - coming from BMW M235i

Been lurking for a while! Ordered Isaac Blue GTI PP this week, 5 door with DSG, Brescia's, DCC and rear camera. This is my first purchase of a new car after 30 years of company lease cars then a personal lease on the BMW. I had two Mk 2 GTi's back in the day - loved them! This one will be a long term keeper - really impressed after test drive, was nervous about drop in power after being spoilt by the M235i (first world issues!), but GTI such an all round accomplished car - only a painful 17 week wait now :rolleyes: - still, there's plenty to read on this forum to keep the excitement up!

Similar spec to mine, but I went for the Atlantic blue. DCC is good - did you get to test drive a DCC car?

I was torn between Atlantic and Isaac - both look great. No I didn’t test one with DCC but rued not getting adaptive on the BMW, having driven one recently with it, so went for the equivalent on the GTI. By all accounts it seems like a good choice.

I had adaptive on my BM - its very good - Yet to try it in a Golf too.

VW app now at Step 3 Build week confirmed commencing 12/3/18 - so probably mid/end May by the look of it  :smiley:

I'm the same build week, but expecting delivery before the end of April.
