Mine did that when I put my seatbelts back in the back. I had to let it roll up more and gently pull it back and it freed up. I'm not sayin it always works but it did for me on mine.
Yeah it hits the shelf at maximuim. I don't know if its actually foobared as I've never used the seat belts in the back
Doing a good job Jay, can wait to see the finished product
Cool Kai see you have been a busy boy lately? Get that V5 already.
I've got a nice chip that would go well in your G60 it cost me £400
nice work jay. the engine bay looks like a great transformation. motivating stuff to be honest.
i am lucky to have occasional access to a ramp, think i might take advantage of it and paint up the rusty bits under mine.
what are you using? por15?
keep it up dude.
Yeah POR15 is good stuff but I tend to dremel down to fresh metal then coat it then level it off, then spray on to it. No point just crusting over the bad rust it will just come back somepoint!
Nice one.... yeah it maybe cold but getting home in the dark is whats really doing my nut in!...... my progress has gone down so much!,,,, you seem to be flying!
Yeah wait until the snow hits us mate!
Nah its a Sound illusion the speed I work
!
very good..... not too worried about the snow, we wont get that till what..... March!?
You've reminded me, i've got to grab my carpets out the attic soon and give them a good going over... not going to fit them till after the MOT so the man doesnt feel the need to stab the underneath too much with his screwdriver as the floor is mint!
So when did this project actually kick off then?
I live on a very high hill, Snow comes early for us, people always find it wierd when we come down and they see snow on our cars
Around the six month mark on and off, but had to stop myself from spending what I usually spend which meant I did a job according to the bargins (parts) I found throughout the six months.
I only started this project page after I started the engine for the first time in nearly two years of non running otherwise no point to it?
I just hope afterwards I won't need to sell her to recoup cash hence taking my time on it so what I spend is what I can afford
4 hours it took to start it after blowing up the starter motor.
awesome project! very tidy engine bay.
watching this!
