Ordered one of these:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003021631337.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.2.5be6f19ccox7cj
Remembers the last state of the auto start/stop button rather than always defaulting to on.

What have I done to my Mk7 today? I have replaced it.

There is a BMW M140i on it's way to me. The Golf will be staying in the family, my wife is going to take over ownership of it.

So a win win situation. :)

Paddles?
I bought my silver alloy Racingline set on offer and fitted them to my new car on the way home from the showroom.
Never regretted having them, look great, used at some point in every drive whether town or country.
They might have cost the factory ??£25?? to fit as standard on a far from cheap car but that’s the way with manufacturers.
It’s a Poundland attitude to a Marks and Spencer brand.
PS….I know the DSG comes with “vestigial” paddles but a performance model deserves something better.

WOW those paddles are expensive. And you still have to do assembly yourself eg glue?

Edit: Rather than sound aggressive, maybe I should clarify what I meant... Do these offer anything more than other options? I feel like there must be something I am missing

These ones are pre-assembled, the ones you assemble yourself are circa £37.

Did a rain dance today, bit pointless really for my 77 round trip commute but sure, still yet to actually ceramic coat the front end of my car as I can't find the time lately so it'll most likely end up getting done during springs tidy up.

Why do some people pay £50 for a wristwitch while others pay £150?
