well I have the 40mm kit I bought with the car..... although I'm going to look for some eibach springs and lower it around 30mm I think? As i said the wife will be driving it and she's not the brightest!!

I am thinking o.e with some minor improvements??    (oh and steel wheels for the wife driving!! them 7" bbs are expensive and rare!!)

Sorry to hijack but are they really? Ive got a set in my shed that have been stripped of paint and bolts removed (still got). How much are they worth nowadays?

if they are anniversary 7" wide I have seen them go for £350 in rough condition, later mk4 type 6.5" wide sell for half that. that half inch does make a big difference!

Does the trim off the sills clip on that easily? I wanted to have a butchers at mine. i'm scared at what it might reveal though, seeing as i was pulling rotten metal out of my plastoc arch trim the other day!!!

Ive got 2 pairs of 7 inch anni alloys now after selling my 8v so if anyone needs a set let me know! They'll need a refurb but they are presentable.

well as I was able to give the car a proper clean I though I had best post some pics here




I have found the handbrake is sticking a bit today....so either cable or caliper repair time (both common mk3 issues, but the cable issue is a free fix! and I will try that first  )... and tomorrow will be o.e headlamp blackening day!

The Hella's fitted may be going on ebay (unless I get a decent offer first!)
