So I think it's time for a rough update and catch up.
So with the run up to MIVW I had plenty to do. Thankfully mike "the polisher" killed it with the wheels. Truly awesome work and saved some sh!t that was supplied to me. Next up tyres on and I was ready for the test fit.
Can't be bothered with pics as I'm sure you know what a wheel looks like sticking out from the arch lol.
I knew this was going to happen as the fitted arch to lip with 9s and I ordered lips to make 9.5". So with trusty washers at the ready I pulled apart the rear setup and added 2 washers rear and 3 washers front to cancel out the toe in. Rear done
Fronts even simpler. Camber adjustment dialled to the max and it was sitting beautifully.
So to cut to the chase it looked great, got plenty of attention at MIVW and I can't believe how well it drives. Love it!!
Here are a load of pics that have popped up from mivw
Love it
Now time to bring you right upto date. The wheels have sold!!!
yup although I was planning to do it without having to sell them sadly the house is far more important. So yeah there sold to buy carpet! Great! Lol. Sold in less than a day! Bloke is kind enough to let me keep them for edition38 and more importantly our own LowCollective Show on 07/09/14. Proper gutted tho.
Still I have plans for next year. I'm going to be using the same lip and barrel setup I have here but going to maybe try a centre that hasn't been done before or do a crazy finish to another set of RS centres.
Next up tho is to get the winters on. Audi Fat 5s are with the powder coater to be done in chrome (unsure if that was the right move but who cares) and will then get them fitted up.
Once that's done it will be left alone other than some service items and a good freshen up in the bay. I've kinda neglected it under the bonnet.
Anyway make sure you grab a look at the wheels and car at Edition and LowCollective
Cheers
Nathan
