Longlife service - more midlife

Have had ED30 for 8 months and elected for longlife as I do a bit more than average mileage.
Have had to book service at 13,500 - at computers demand. Was really anticipating another 2-3 months before this came round.

Is it not based on the type of driving rather than milleage alone. Town driving being harsher on the car than motorway. My RS was on long-life services before I switched to fixed and did around 16k miles prior to needing service.

Not sure what has triggered it so early - certainly not town/city driving as 95% of my mileage has been on relatively traffic free A/B roads in East Anglia, mostly 50 + mph.
Will query it with service dept. tomorrow.
