What do i need to be doing for winter, to protect my car, basically from rusting away?
And what is good to use for the body work, atm i polish it once every few weeks, and it looks spotless. But what should i be looking to do over the winter, as im not going to wash and polish it in -10 degrees! lol
cheers

i'll sort out a proper reply to this later as this seems to be coming up quite a bit now

For the underside, in the arches, inside the sills, and other box sections - get some Waxoyl sprayed on them.
Others here will have better advice for the shiny sides!

can i spray the waxoyl on myself?

You can either spray it on or paint it on...
Make sure you take down any rusty bits or any waxoyl on there from previous years as water can sit in there..
I bought a massive can of the stuff from Halfords actually..dunno how much it goes for now..
Slapped it on anywhere and everywhere like where tt mentioned... I also covered my panels in hammerite once taking any rust off.
Dinx

get some poorboys ex-p sealant and put that on after you've polished, then some collinite 845 insulator wax put that on and your paint will be protected through the winter when they start chucking salt down.
