The guy behind those rats is my good friend from Somerset, Joe.  I'm not quite sure what's got into him, but he's become a bit obsessed with the whole rat-look thing!  Considering he's got a lovely VR6 Corrado hidden away too, we all think he's mental.

The best build threads are over at SWDubs:

And the latest work-in-progress...  http://www.swdubs.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9057

It's also a ballache going to shows with him, as everyone looks past my car to look at his 'creation'!   :embarassed:

I love that two-face Rocco. The detail is amazing and the split is so perfect it's like a work of car art
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

Wow, alot of different views on this.  I do think it could look a bit weird with just a rusty styled bonnet and old rims, but the trouble is i had 2 previous tidy Golfs and they both scratched and keyed and the same when i got the polo, within days it had new scratches by i'm sure little scrotes hanging around the car park it's parked in outside my house.  If i went for the rat look style i wouldn't be too bothered about new scratches appearing as opposed to the tidy look.  I'm just bored of it the way it is.  Great pics tho

Thanks for the links.  I have to confess that when I actually looked at the detail of the Rocco the first time I clocked it, I was impressed, I just ended up not being keen on it because it looked like a mint rocco to begin with and couldn't help but think it was ruined. be interesting to see how the raddo ends up, the split from top to bottom is interesting...................  I think I could only Rat a car because it looks like sh*t in the first place.  I suppose he wouldn't get the look he was going for if he always did this so each to their own.
