Is the other U in the GTI/D actually there as in for a function or is it purely decorative?
Chances are it isn't an actual working part.  :cry:

It looks identical to the illuminated U, hopefully it can be lit up!

Fail to see how them lights will not function unless the DRL are not wired to them by loom which may mean a cable needs running from a connection point that supplies the working DRL?

Not seen back of lights obviously as still waiting! but be interesting to see if there is anything spare?

The hope however is they can somehow just be 'switched' on as think we would all love these :)

Just a quick look through google and it looks like some of the release images from VW when the Mk7 GTI was announced, they all seem to have dual DRL's.
