Cleaned out the interior, cleaned the air filter and gave the engine bay a quick wipe
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

Bled the brakes, well, I had a man do it for me...

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

On Friday, fitted new JVC 811 iphone radio cd player with two usb and bluetooth. It's great. 80gb ipod on rear usb, hidden in the dashboard. Bluetooth connects to my iphone, so I can play music, use tomtom on the iphone which lowers the music to give the directions. I can also make calls and access the phonebook on the stereo which has fitted a small microphone next to the alarm sensor - so proper handsfree. And with the same 6x9s and the alpines in front, the sound is truly fantastic.
As a consequence the other JVC along with the 12 CD changer will be going on ebay.

Then on Saturday washed it and took it to fill up with petrol. Driving back, I couldn't change out of third. When I got home I had a look, the little plastic ball socket to ball socket on the gear linkage - one of the sockets had split. So I drove to gsf, changing gear carefully and bought a new one. Had a good chat with the guy there, he has a mk2 with a 20vt in it.

Considering getting one of these now...

Then drove with the missis down to Rye and Camber Sands - great gti roads down in that part of Kent.

Golf GTi 8v mk2 1990
Coilovers, BBS RA, K&N Induction Kit...
