Kestrel DA-6 Dual Action Polisher
« on: 09 January 2009, 12:31 »
Can pick these up on Elite for £90 and I'm seriously tempted. Would also need a couple of pads and probably get that Mazerna trial kit that is £20. oh and some blue tape! It looks quite similar to the Megs one.

Which pads would I need? Anything I need to b made aware about? Also it takes 5 inch pads but can't find any on elite?!

*trundles off to find a noobs guide to machine polishing*

There's a fantastic guide over on Detailing world about machine polishing.

EDIT:
Quote
Fits 5", 6" and 6.5" Pads
Which means you can use 6" pads.

Cheers! I read the guide on DA polishing yesterday and am REALLY tempted to buy one. AS I got somemarks that I want to get rid of along with lots of swirls:(
