they still scrape on things at standard height  it must catch on everything when lowered

they still scrape on things at standard height  it must catch on everything when lowered

yep, catch on litterally everything, small stones, cats eye etc etc  part of the reason im running the later spec splitter on mine.

but lets face it, standard height corrados need an oxygen supply to the cabin theyre so high.

took the blanking plate back off the charger as it decided to pop seals left right and centre
so i put everything back to normal

just had to replace the steering column as the steering lock decided to jam on ignition switch was goosed also
so killed 2 birds with one stone

got it running pretty good now cleaned it up today now for sale i cant afford to run it with the
golf nearly finished so this will be the last post on this topic i think

well a good thing has happened

a van cut a roundabout and took the front wing and bumper out
been driving it around until i could get it into the bodyshop

had the wing repaired also had the changed the bonnet to the early one as my vr bonnet was dented
so that was painted along with both sides and the front bumper
looks a pretty tasty raddo now get some pics this weekend

only trouble i had is it is leakin water after it came out the bodyshop not sure if something has been knocked
rad weld sorted it out today

off to get some electrics done next week as they are a bit of a mess at the moment and i have a few issues
with them

driving home in the dark from the bodyshop i hit a huge pothole bent the wheel and put the abs light on but it seems to have fixed itself lol

but i might decide to keep it a little longer now or at least until my golf is on the road again

had the g60 upto motorscope today got all the fueling set up properly as it was running way to rich had a power run on the rollers

managed to get engine 189.8 BHP
                      wheels 154.9 BHP
                      torque 180.6 lbft

i thought that was pretty good considering its done over 206k

he pointed out the front pipe and inlet have a slight leak
i will pop a couple of gaskets on when i get time
