The basics:
GTI International www.gtiinternational.co.uk 23/24th June 2012. Bruntingthorpe, Leics.
The detail:
I believe this is the 25th time Inters has been held. This forum is 10 years old in May 2012.
Why not turn up to the old man of GTI events AND meet some of your forum friends?
Central location, lots of on-site entertainment plus a good excuse to meet people from here.
A crazy number of good friendships have been created via this forum but also a huge number of people never attend car shows. If that's you, why not make this one the exception?
There will be a GolfGTI.co.uk 'club' area both days. To get your car on to it, you just need to pre-order tickets from www.gtiinternational.co.uk and pick 'golfgti.co.uk' from the club stand list. Your pass will be sent directly to you. Be great to get a decent attendance.
The show is on Saturday and Sunday - the club stand will be there both days. The organisers much prefer it if you get there early (9am) for club stands as it is easier to move cars around with less people about.

The club display pass will get sent out to you direct by the organisers.
You only need to choose the number of club passes you need in total eg:
2 people going for the weekend in one car = 2 weekend tickets and 1 club stand pass
2 people going for one day in 2 cars = 2 day tickets and 2 club stand passes
1 person for one day in one car = 1 day ticket and 1 club stand pass
etc etc

hopefully get the paint and laquer peel sorted this weekend but think its the last day you can buy tickets for the show stands this weekend isnt it?

bad isnt it, think the previous owner rested something heavy on the back bumper when unlocking boot and thats cracked the laquer then over the years its all peeled off, then im assuming fronts proberbly from a stone chip :sad:
us spec rub strip diy, side markers, sort out front and back bumper and small crease at bottom of door all before inters, recon i can do it? :grin:

can only be on the stand with prebooked tickets which included Club stand passes :lipsrsealed: they allocate space for that number of passes, no more. no pass, no stand i am afraid

I have 2 tickets an club stand pass for my Rocco but need a club stand for the mk4 as well as decided it would be good fun to race the mrs on the way but obviously from above not possible now :undecided:

possibility that my car wownt be ready for the club stand now...finished bumper. was pleased with the finish...then the wind blew it off the table. laquer chiped. paint chiped. filler cracked :cry:

Just been reading this on the inters website, is it gonna be a ballache sorting this out?
The event itself is open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm, although the main Bruntingthorpe site gates will be open from 7.30 am to avoid any queuing on the public road. Only traders and special pass holders will be able to gain access to the GTI International site before 9 am.
Re-admission
To avoid unnecessary traffic movements to and from the public car park, and to prevent fraudulent re-use of tickets, we have a policy of no re-admission without buying another ticket. Please ensure that you arrive with enough fuel to take part in the driving activities.
Campers will receive a pass which allows them to leave and re-enter the site if necessary, but please note that individual wristbands must be worn at all times as they will be checked on re-entry.

had a decent day today like. didnt get chance to say hi to anyone off here, saw all your cars on the "club stand" (if you can even call it that, youde of thought theyde have atleast cut the grass shorter and made it more better layed out, to me it just looked like a load of cars randomly parked in a feild :rolleyes: ) but none of you guys were around when i came over to the club stand.
still a good day with a few mates. saw some pretty nice cars, got some good ideas. as you usually do after a show. weather these ideas will materialise is a different thing
