I've been looking into this on the weekend - and it really does look like it could well be what I'm looking for - does removing the Pcv system affect the car atall in any way? I mean will it effect emissions at all? Has anyone carries out the Pcv delete?

its not a delete as such, more of a replacement...a better replacement, it prevent oily vapour re-entering the engine and keeps it nice n healthy

I think i may take a look into changing the pcv system-  it does also seem there's a few options and ways to go.

This is the thread that i found

http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/269734.aspx

has anyone else followed this... If so, is the PCV itself removed all together? and are you basically running straght pipe from the block breather up to a T then into the catch can?

I'm just trying t understand if  all the valves are removed... now i jsut need to sorce the T and the 19mm piping!
