I've just re read this in the light of day and realised its an E36 M3, I thought, in my half asleep state, you said E46.
No offence but E36 . . .

nah wouldnt bother mate, E36 m3's arent that expensive now. and they looked dated.
If it was a E46 then id say yes.

Yes but your not going to get a E46 for £4k plus loads more problems with them.

id say go for it there brilliant cars, but if you plan on doing winter driving in the snow then id say forget it, there an absolute nighmare in the white stuff.

Nah, snow driving is great! I bought a manual 300zx tt last winter..... An e46 m3 for less than 10k would be dog-rough or you turn up to buy it, get raped, beaten up and robbed! I kinda like e36's as I've had 3 in the past but they do look very dated inside and out compared to the golf. The m3 also has 11 previous owners so it's been thrashed by the world whereas my golf has been carefully driven standard by 2 then me not so carefully.....

Cheers for your views, Ill have to view it and make a decision.......... The £1000 extra could pay for my ko3s to be a hybrid, a Milltek Discrete cat back and add a little to buy a 4 bar FPR and Ill chore some Calibra injectors.......... decisions decisions.....
