  • Hey all! I may need some help.
Does anyone know of any cool anti theft keyless start cases that covers just the key? The issue I have is that I have to use a fob to get in and out of work multiple times a day and I have the fob on my key. Using the basic cases, means I have to get my key out of the case multiple times a day...  I'm always carrying something, so its a bit of nuisance.

Also, any good ghost immobilisers, or something similar? As, I would prefer not to have some scumbag sitting in my seat driving off with my car?

Lock the doors with the fob then touch the lock ensor on the door handle. You have to do it each time you want keyless entry disabled but it quickly becomes a habit and gives some peace of mind.

I was legit about to ask about that! I'm watching a video at the moment where the guy disconnects the battery maintenance module from the battery. I'm about to run outside to see if it works. Turning off that damn stop start becomes part of the start up procedure.

If your car’s a 65 plate mk7 GTD as per your forum signature details, then I don’t think you can temporarily disable keyless; the functionality only exists on later (mk7.5) cars.

That's a shame, didn't realise that was a 7.5 only feature.
