mot yesterday, only needed a bulb and offside wheel bearings so not too bad, although the garage did scratch my alloy  which im fuming about,
retro fit aero wipers just arrived so gonna put them on when rain stops, id prefer the whole aero new arms but cant justify the price for wipers when i need other stuff

Started switch out belts, it rained heavily, we got wet, said sod it and went for a cup of tea. Off beers now for a job not done

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Outer cv boot replacement
Attached all components back onto gearbox (did a clutch change yesterday)
Bled the clutch
Aligned gear linkages
removed both wishbones and removed the 2 larger bushes (less for the garage to do)
rebuilt starter motor
rebuilt starter again
and now the starters off again  can't get it working

Are you a qualified mechanic that has an entire garage available? I wish I could do all that stuff...I just drove mine to the golf course and back
