Don't take it easy! That's what warranty is for, if the turbo does blow its a guaranteed new one!

Lol yes driving back into the dealers with Revo software and a blown turbo wouldn't look too good.

I recently wrote on the EPC light staying on thread and said my car had been with dealer for a week with rough running and stop/start issue.

After the dealership consulted VW they were told to change the turbo pack on my car. This has totally cured the problem and the dealer said for VW to say change the turbo pack without suggesting they try other things first shows this must be a known problem.

In total my car was off the road for two weeks but is running perfectly now. I don't know what turbo I had previously but I took delivery of my car near the end of October 2013.

Hmm my light is on sometimes I thought I was emissions and my stop start doesn't work all the time... Nov pickup rev Q...

ok my dealer says there is no recall on our models, does anyone have anything more concrete. EliteBajan, can you get a report or something from your dealer as to why they changed the turbo?

Just wondering has anyone had problems with their turbo(modded or not) as it still seems to be an issue in the USA? My turbo is the "K" version and I'm planning on the Revo Stage 2 when it comes out. Perhaps these turbos  were a specific batch relating to the USA !!!!!!!!!!!
