Hello,
Newbie here! I have a mark 7 Golf GTI that I used to adore, but now it's causing me so much grief.
When I drive over an uneven surface I get a loud creaking that sounds like the bottom of the car is falling out. It's not a normal suspension creak as it often happens after I've gone down the hole rather than during. It sounds like its coming from the middle at the front.
A friend has suggested this could be the bushes on the anti-roll bar. Does this sound right to anyone, and any suggestions on how much this may cost to fix?
I also need two new tyres and a major service, and two wheels as one is cracked and the other has buckled - they are the silly diamond cut ones and apparently cannot be repaired again
Thanks so much
