Thought I’d fit some club sport wheel centre caps with the red rings on them

@willni, if my garage looked like that I’d be sleeping in there.

Essentially I am the amount of hours I'm working in it

Look great JB they look best with a white car imo.

Dyno'd the GTI. Turbo inlet elbow and pipe, Pikey R600. DTUK Tuning box.
It made 282bhp. Chuffed with that. I like the way it drives so I might not even bother with a remap now..

I'm waiting for the graph print as the printer was goosed...

Still need an exhaust, as it was the quietest car there!

I've always said 280-290bhp is the perfect amount for a mk7! I take it, that it's a lot more responsive lower down with the is20?

If you're looking at exhausts make sure you get one that retains a backbox section otherwise it'll sound tinny and drone.

Yeah it just goes as soon as you poke it, no waiting for the power to come in. It still returns ~41 mpg for me as well. Its the best car I've owned, absolutely love it...

Was thinking about an anti drone res delete and some nicer, larger tips.

Had my TCR out for a run up to see family in Norfolk. Nice steady run, comfortable and almost 47mpg over 140 miles! Back home Thursday then a 250 run up to Teesside for a few days, then across to West Yorkshire for a few more days and finally to Backpool. Probably a good 1000 miles to cover. Such a great car for all occasions!

MPG on a GTI is always a pleasant surprise. My new Grandson lives down in Yeovil, round trip down from home near Manchester Airport with missus (can’t boot it) always returns high 40’s.
As you state, great car for all occasions👍

Looks great, really suits the car! Can you share where you got these from and for how much? I'm keen to get some for my white 7.5 PP with graphite wheels, but can't find a set for less than £75... but maybe that's just what it costs...  Seen you can get decals from BadgeSkins etc, but would rather get the caps tbh

Impressive, I have a DTUK box for a GTI in my garage of the old mans old Mk7 he gave me to use but I got a tune instead. Looking at that I could have saved money by putting it on. Not sure how it would cope with the Cobra Sports Sports Cat and 3inch no res system though.
