mk6 Golf GTi
« on: 09 December 2013, 21:06 »
Thought I'd chuck a couple of pics of the Golf up.

Picked it up in late October, got it for a reasonable price, one previous owner with decent spec....

Had the car a month and decided I needed to play with it, this happened..

Before...

After...

Supposed to add 10hp, not sure if thats strictly true, but it definitely picks up a lot nicer.

Plans, get Christmas and New Year over with, then exhaust and map, set of lowering springs and a good polish, probably around springtime.

cheers, Chris.

After Xmas this is gonna be my next purchase along with the stage 2 pipe that runs round the back of the engine just to add a bit more carbon under the bonnet :)

I bought the pipercross induction kit, that comes with the pipe as well but is less fancy looking, before having it remapped the rolling road said 224bhp but after 268.9, so they seem to make a difference, especially with a remap.

Its definitely more fun after the remap, Though be Careful tweaking cars becomes addictive and expensive.
